Staff Education, Reporting and Whistleblowing
Employees are directed to the Australian Government’s Modern Slavery website for further education, resources, and reporting guidance:
https://www.modernslavery.gov.au/support-someone-else/report-suspected-modern-slavery
This resource provides practical information on recognising signs of exploitation, understanding reporting pathways, and supporting individuals at risk.
Platform One also provides internal whistleblowing channels allowing confidential and protected reporting of concerns.
Legislative Context
The Australian Modern Slavery Act 2018 (effective 1 January 2019) does not require Platform One to submit annual public Modern Slavery Statements. However, Platform One has voluntarily implemented this Policy to manage and reduce modern slavery risks within our operations and supply chains.
